Preparation for the Berufsmatura final exam as a private, semi-private, or trio private course.

ABOUT THE EXAM

Exams are administered at vocational training centers in accordance with clear cantonal guidelines:

Core subjects: German (written/oral), English, and/or French (including listening comprehension components).
Mathematics: Math exams that vary greatly depending on the track (engineering vs. business) and last several hours.
Focus subjects: e.g., history and politics, or economics and law.
The Interdisciplinary Project (IDPA) is a required component and must be presented as part of a colloquium.

The calculation: The 50-50 principle applies to all exam subjects (50% coursework, 50% final exam). Subjects not covered by exams are graded solely based on the grades from previous semesters.
Passing Requirements: Identical to the federal guidelines (average grade $geq$ 4.0, no more than two failing grades, maximum deviation of 2.0 points).

March/April 2027: Completion and presentation of the IDPA in the canton of St. Gallen.
May 2027: Determination of the final St. Gallen performance grades.
June 2027: Cantonal examination phase (written and oral).
